With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Jamia Millia Islamia, Omkar has one on to make a name for himself as an Indian artist. His prowess has won him awards, including Poster Competition prize from his alma mater in 1987 and the Sahitya Kala Parushad Award in 1986.

A Delhi artist, Omkar has been part of many exhibitions, camps and workshops. His work can be found in many private collections in India and abroad.
