

Parthapratim Saha![]() A post graduate in organic chemistry from Calcutta University, Parthopratim Saha took basic guidance in Fine Arts from College of Visual Arts, Calcutta. He also took a course in ceramics from Mr. Satish Chandra, Ceramic-in-charge of LKA Eastern Region, Kolkata at ArtsAcre Ceramic Studio and took guidance in Restoration from Patrick Lindsay at the Victoria Memorial, Calcutta. Parthopratim worked as a restorer at the Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata during which time his work includes restoration of many masters of the Indian art world from Bengal School Gharana to Modern time. To his credit he has participated in several shows across India including Kolkata, New Delhi Mumbai, Chennai and Lucknow. He has also shown his work in the the United Kingdom and Belgarde, Yugoslavia. Parthapratim has also been a part of several prestigious workshops in India and abroad, including one on Woodcut at ArtAcres and a painting workshop in Novisad, in what was then called Yugoslavia.
